This Teacher’s book will teach you programming and some basic electronics without assuming any prior knowledge of either subject. The book focuses on what programming and basic electronics is required to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum for KS2 and KS3. It takes you from first principles through programming, project design and ending up with 7 fully worked examples, it covers the following microcontroller systems; MicroBit, Crumble, Pixie:8 and Raspberry Pi Pico, plus Arduino (KS3).

1. Introduction, which covers the basic aspects of Programming, Electronics and microcontrollers.
2.  Embedded Systems, which covers inputs, process and output devices, programming methods, how to design an embedded system, how to program, getting started and which commands do I use?
3. Working projects, 7 fully described working projects with code and circuits.
4. Appendix, what’s on the CD, microcontroller systems described, how to make enclosures, hints & tips and useful suppliers.
